The Board Forum
The Board Forum brings CEOs, presidents and company owners
together for an invigorating exchange of information,
ideas, insights and solutions. They come to discuss
long-term strategies and issues of the day. The Board
Forum is an accelerated roundtable model.
CEO's meet in peer groups of 8 to 12 members from non-competing
companies. Meetings are held monthly or quarterly where
members develop strong business relationships. They delve
into candid, solution-seeking discussions focused on
CEO-level issues - challenges and pressures unique to
top-level management.
Expert facilitators and speakers are part of the program.
Monthly roundtables involve four-five speakers throughout
the year. Quarterly roundtables meet for a full day with
a speaker for part of that day. All groups include an
Annual Retreat. The meetings and Annual Retreat are similar
to a think tank in which all members participate.
The Board Forum Facilitators
The Board Forum is an accelerated roundtable
model with two facilitators for each roundtable, several
who are currently or have been CEOs. They bring
extensive business experience as CEO’s and entrepreneurs
in finance, technology, marketing, sales, human resources
and access to capital. Members receive immediate attention
and resources between meetings.
The Value
of The Board Forum
A forum established in 1999 continues to meet. Forums
established in 2001 and 2005 are still in tact. A
new Forum in 2007 is growing.
CEOs don’t, and in many cases, can’t talk
with any other group, i.e. employees, Board of Directors
or typical peers. TBF groups are experienced and
prefer this CEO Peer-to-Peer format because of the candor
and confidentiality they get in each meeting.
At The Board Forum you are part of a group looking
for viable solutions to common issues and strategic
challenges. You can feel comfortable you don’t have all of
the answers. You can feel comfortable you WILL find answers
and solutions from your group.
